Tin Buckets!

Got this from Martha Stewart Weddings.

What got me interested first was the color of the flowers that were used. (Syempre, 'coz they're purple!) Then those tin buckets totally took my attention - they're so retro!!! Hehehe, I don't know if that's the right word to use. But I think it really fits with our retro/vintage theme.

Since we were going to use the aisle decorations as table centerpieces, this is how it's going to look siguro. It looks good rin talaga as a centerpiece eh. Fits well talaga with our theme, and the over-all feel/mood na I want to induce for the reception. It looks casual, pero elegant pa rin eh. A bigger tin bucket was used for this centerpiece, pero basically that's how it's going to look.

Cathy of IFlowersSpeak said that she was going to group the tin bucket arrangements para mas maraming bulaklak. (Kasi nga a tin bucket of flowers will not be enough nga naman for a big round table diba?) See the picture on the left, that's not really a tin bucket pero it approximates the color and the size of the tin buckets siguro that will be used from the aisle arrangements eh. I think it will be too small if isang arrangement lang. Dapat nga siguro grouping.

One more good way of using the tin buckets would be for the flower girls :) Instead of the usual ordinary basket, why not use tin buckets na rin, to tie in with the aisle decorations? I think the girls would like carrying it rin siguro eh. I might (or tell Cathy to) decorate the tin buckets with purple ribbons or denim fabric so that the girls will not look like they're just holding an ordinary timba diba? Hehehe.
