The AVP

Ang hirap pala maging artista!

Just had the day-long AVP shoot with Buddy Gancenia, and I must say, I'm dead tired.

I was kind of nervous and anxious a few days before the shoot, because I was scared that only a few of Dar's friends would show up. They have a tendency to be flaky kasi (case in point: Darice's birthday party - NOBODY showed up, even if they said they'd make habol), so I was asking Dar to confirm and re-confirm who will be able to make it for the shoot. And they did make it!!! :D Too bad the most important guy friend (he was the one pimping Dar to ask me out) for the video who came from Pangasinan was too late for the shoot already. Syempre, can't demand naman from him too much hehehe.

One concern of mine also was that Darice was going to do her own spiels and I was worried she'd go bratty on us. Although it took almost all morning to do her scenes, she was still cheerful and energetic on her last shot (although, I could see a twinge of ka-maldita-han already hehehe). As a reward, I sent her off with my sisters to visit my parents and my brothers. [Also, she was getting crankier by the second :P]

My biggest concern was, of course, Dar, who was really camera-shy (kuno). He's a very un-opinionated guy when it comes to our relationship (everything was either "okay lang", "ikaw bahala", or "kahit ano", for him). And he answers everything in jest!!! Walang seryoso na lumabas sa bibig nyan. I was really worried I was going to look like this head-over-heels girl for him, and he's just NR towards me =s But I think my friend-slash-coordinator-slash-director Kat managed to get a few serious answers from him. ^_^

Good thing Buddy was so patient also. Ang kukulit rin kasi ng mga friendships namin ni Dar hehe.

Ngayon ko lang narealize, good thing merong AVP shoot and pre-nuptial pictorial. You get to *bond* with your videographer and the photographer, and masasanay ka sa camera.

At first, I felt uncomfortable doing my scene for the AVP, especially since di naman kami close talaga ni Buddy tapos I'll be saying mushy things about Dar diba? Pero Buddy kasi is so comfortable to be with, sobrang down-to-earth kaya as the scene went on, I got to be more comfy. That's one of the reasons I warmed up to him when Cathy Gancenia referred him, kasi feeling ko same level kami ganyan hehehe.

Also he has so many ideas, and andaming angles nya kinuhanan yung mga scenes (three takes all in all), natuwa talaga ako. :D Feeling artista talaga kaming lahat!!!

I do hope I get to see the edited AVP na (kahit yung raw scenes man lang!!!) pero surprise daw sabi ni Buddy eh. Hehehe. Si Kat na ang bahala mag-critique hihihi.

Assembly Line

Been busy assembling the invitations these past couple of weeks. Dar has been a great help! I've been giving him stuff to do regarding the invitations [some assembly, map printing, etc] and he always gets it done. Galing, kakaiba! Hahaha.

That's it for now! I still have 49 invitations to go :)

P.S. In a weird kind of way, after the prenups, I've been feeling a bit more confident about myself. I noticed a slight *kendeng* when I'm walking eh hahahah.
